Valle Nevado soars high above the Santiago city skyline at 3000+ metres and is the gateway to a Chilean winter playground combining luxury and world-class skiing.

Valle Nevado, loosely translated as snowy valley, is part of the Tres Valles de los Andes interconnecting with ski resorts La Parva and El Colorado, which combined have the largest skiable terrain in Chile. Located only a short 65km from Santiago you have the luxury of arriving at Santiago’s international airport in the morning and riding Chilean powder by noon. Or for those of who can’t wait and don’t want to miss a single powdery turn, arrive in style and fly direct from Santiago by helicopter.       

The resort´s unique positioning and high elevation creates a powder phenomenon whereby Valle Nevado often receives considerable more snow than nearby resorts. With extensive range of well maintain groomed trails combined with abundant off-piste terrain, Valle is a resort for all levels. The resorts modern infrastructure with a ski-in ski-out location sits amongst the impressive Andean mountain range. Valle Nevado accommodation packages are all-inclusive with lift tickets, breakfast, dinner and access to hotel facilities and is generally arranged in full weeks or mini-weeks.       

Built in 1988 by a French company with a vision to bring European style to the Chilean Andes, accommodation choices for all travellers from the stylish Hotel Valle Nevado and Puerta de Sol to the more economically Hotel Tres Puntas. After a day on the mountain, Apres activities include eight restaurants, three bars & a club, and spa & massage facilities. Valle Nevado has developed a master plan to continue to promote the resort as a world-class destination on and off the slopes. Season 2010 sees the installation of 2 additional ski lifts; construction has commenced on new condominiums, restaurants & shops; with plans to add Chile´s first gondola in time for season 2011.
